Personal History		Neve was born on Earth in 2369 to Federation Ambassador Gwendolyn Blackwood and Federation Secretary of Commerce Nigel Blackwood. When she was 18, her parents wanted her to join them in Federation activities, but Neve decided to enroll in Starfleet Academy instead. She majored in Intelligence and minored in Psychology—being highly interested in criminal behavior. In 2391, she graduated from the academy and was placed on the USS Centris-A as an intelligence officer. On the Centris-A, she served for two years until she was promoted to the rank of lieutenant junior grade. While on the Centris-A, she primarily worked as a communications and data analyst. She analyzed enemy communications and subspace data for counterintelligence. On the Centris-A, she became an expert in crypto-analysis. In 2393, she wanted to specialize in organized crime, so she transferred to Outpost 52, where she worked with a team of intelligence officers to stop criminal organizations and activity that was considered a threat to the United Federation of Planets. She worked with the Organized Crime Division for 6 years before being promoted to Deputy Director of the division. As deputy director, she was the liaison between Starfleet security, starships in the area, and the Director of Intelligence at the Outpost. She managed the case intake for the Organized Crime Division. She frequently worked alongside Starfleet Security to stop political assassinations, research terrorist movements, and gather intelligence on Federation enemies. In 2401, she accepted a role as Chief Intelligence Officer aboard the USS Iroquois.
